Head of the Parliament of MoldovaZinaida Greceanîi in an interview for RIA Novosti told that the authorities of the republic wish to establish relations with Russia at all levels.
Earlier, the President of Moldova Igor Dodon said that the authorities canceled the ban imposed in March 2017 on the visit of parliament and government members to Russia.
“There should be not only cooperation between our states at the level of presidents – all relations should be unblocked. It is extremely important for Moldova to restore full cooperation with the Russian Federation at all levels,” Greceanîi said.
According to her, the first foreign visit of the Moldovan parliamentary delegation, which included representatives from all factions of the ruling coalition, was made to the State Duma, the Federation Council, and the Russian Government. Greceanîi believes that this visit was extremely constructive.
“We assured Russian side that the Moldovan delegation will participate in the meetings of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, and the Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament will certainly participate in them. Group of friends with the State Duma and the Federation Council have already been established, which included representatives of all factions of the Parliament and headed by socialist MPs,” the head of the Parliament said.
