On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Igor Dodon met with Romanian President Klaus Johannis.
During the conversation, the parties analyzed the entire agenda of bilateral relations. Igor Dodon emphasized the strategic nature of our cooperation, noting that Romania is the largest trading partner of the Republic of Moldova.
“I thanked the Romanian leadership for supporting the Republic of Moldova in the most important areas and for implementation of many significant programs and projects, including in the economic, social and energy spheres. Relations with the neighboring state are a priority for the Presidential Administration,” – noted the head of state noted on his page on the social network.
