The US Ministry of Finance excluded from the sanctions list Russian companies that fell into it because of the DPRK nuclear program. On Monday, March 2, the US Treasury Department excluded two Russian companies from the sanctions lists. At the same time, the Independent Oil and Gas Company (NOC) was expelled as three legal entities with different names, and its subsidiary NNK-Primornefteproduct as four legal entities. Both entities were subject to sanctions imposed by the United States in 2017 in connection with North Korea’s nuclear program. Note, in February the United States announced imposing sanctions against Rosneft Trading and its president Didier Kasimiro for trading Venezuelan oil. The Russian Federation called them illegal. The United States also imposed sanctions against Russian defense enterprises. Russian enterprises, according to Washington, "violate US law on the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction."
