PAS leader Maia Sandu claims that law enforcement agencies are reporting that Igor Dodon and people around him have begun a “real hunt” for the Constitutional Court judges.
“The entire state machine was used to find the reasons for pressure on judges and their families in an attempt to impose a decision on the Russian loan that would be convenient for socialists. It seems that Dodon wants to become Plahotniuc. I remind Dodon that Plahotniuc had to flee the country precisely because he had crossed all the red lines. Do not task people's patience who are already tired of corruption and poverty. And those who serve Dodon should stop following illegal orders, because the day will come when they will carry responsibility, and the thieves will no longer be able to protect them,” Maia Sandu wrote on her Facebook page, deschide.md reports.
The politician also added that judges of the Constitutional Court should be able to fulfill their duties independently, impartially, complying with the Constitution only.
It should be noted that earlier deputy Sergiu Litvinenco said that the judges of the Constitutional Court are constantly kept watched on by employees of two government agencies.
Recall that on April 23, the Constitutional Court decided on the resignation of the Constitutional Court chairman Vladimir Turcan. He was replaced by judge Domnica Manole.
This happened after President Igor Dodon said that he had phoned Vladimir Turcan to discuss the law for which the Chicu government had claimed responsibility.
