A number of MPs of the PSRM faction are ready to leave the parliamentary majority and vote for the resignation of the Chicu government. At the same time, they can support the appointment of a new Cabinet, formed by the current opposition parties. This statement was made by the Pro Moldova parliamentary group deputy, Vladimir Cebotari. PDM Vice-Chairman Nicolae Ciubuc confirmed that there are attempts to withdraw deputies from the parliamentary majority, ziarulnational.md reports. According to Ciubuc , currently there are 54 deputies in the parliamentary majority, but he admits any development of the situation after some parliamentarians left Pro Moldova. “The resignation of the Chicu government and the appointment of the government of Sandu, Shor, Candu and Nastase are possible today only by bribing deputies. It is illegal and reprehensible. But anything is possible. In addition, I don’t understand why the PDM faction should vote for the government's resignation in which we have our representatives,” Ciubuc said on the Punctul pe azi program on TVR Moldova. In this regard, Vladimir Cebotari noted that there are signs that discontent is growing in the PSRM faction, and some deputies are ready to leave the parliamentary majority. “Recently, we have received signals that PSRM has many internal contradictions. There are also many problems in their territorial teams. The idea of supporting the government's resignation and appointing a new Cabinet is discussed more and more often. Each decision will be made at the right time, and we hope that this time will come as soon as possible so that we can improve the situation. I think that they will arrive at decisions within a reasonable time,” the Pro Moldova deputy said. Former Cebotari’s same-party deputy, PDM deputy chairman, Ciubuc, confirmed that there are signals that some socialists will leave the PSRM faction. “Such signals are coming. There are certain attempts to recruit socialist deputies according to the formula of MPs from the PDM faction,” Ciubuc said.
