The Honorary Chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), Dumitru Diacov, spoke in detail about the meeting he held last week with deputies of the DA Platform, Alexandru Slusari and Igor Munteanu. According to the politician, in his parliament cabinet, they discussed the initiative of the DA Platform to put forward a vote of no confidence in the Chicu government and the appointment of a new cabinet, tv8.md reports. “We exchanged views on a vote of no confidence in the government. This dialogue lasted about an hour. Their position is still not clear to me. I asked for the name of the prime minister, not three, as they told the press. They did not voice this name. I advised them to come to an agreement with their former ACUM colleagues, representatives of the Action and Solidarity party,” Diacov said during Politica Nataliei Morari program on TV8. Yesterday, July 13, Alexandru Slusari stated that the DA Platform relies largely on the PAS support in a vote of no confidence in the Chicu government. Recall that the PAS Politburo decided to convene the National Political Council on Saturday, July 18, to decide whether the party would sign a motion of no confidence in the Chicu government proposed by the DA Platform. Slusari stated that he considered such position of his colleagues incorrect.
