The DA platform put forward a vote of no confidence in the Chicu government in parliament. The text of the document was presented at the plenary meeting by the Vice-President of the Parliament, Alexandru Slusari, and will be registered with the secretariat. According to the authors of the text, the executive branch headed by Ion Chicu “demonstrated the government’s incompetence and created the prerequisites for deepening the crisis in all spheres of public life,” agora.md reports. At the same time, the text notes “systematic violation of the law, promotion of the interests of groups of people, promotion of selective foreign policy, interference in the judicial system and aggressive control over media institutions”. Note that the document was signed by deputies of the DA Platform, PAS and deputy Octavian Ticu.
