Renato Usatii Has Applied for Running in Presidential Elections

The political formation “Our Party” has submitted to the Central Election Commission documents nominating Renato Usatii candidate for the post of President of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, documents were submitted to create an initiative group to collect signatures of supporters of the candidate for the presidency of the Republic of Moldova,  ipn.md reported. After nominating his candidacy, Renato Usatii said that he was glad that this was the first presidential election with his participation, and that he would not allow anyone else to ridicule the political party he led. “I hope that this will be a clean campaign, I hope that there will be candidates who, regardless of their political coloring, will respect each other,” Renato Usatii added. From September 1, initiative groups can be registered to collect 15 thousand signatures, which are necessary to register the candidate participating in the presidential race.
