An independent candidate for the presidency of Moldova, supported by the PSRM, Igor Dodon did not attend the PAS-organized national debate “on the most pressing and important issues that people face”.
Earlier, Igor Dodon announced that he would participate in debates only in the second round of the presidential elections,
cotidianul.md reports.
“Igor Dodon preferred to print the report on expensive paper for state money. I would like to ask him why he did not visit the countries where most of the investments come from, what he did when the private sector was attacked by criminal gangs that were taking away businesses,” said Maia Sandu, noting that more than 140 thousand young people left Moldova for the last four years.
Earlier, PAS presidential candidate Maia Sandu once again invited independent candidate Igor Dodon to a public pre-election debate.
According to Sandu, people have the right to know what the president of the country has done for them in four years and how he intends to address specific problems of the family, youth, farmers, doctors, teachers, pensioners.
Sandu proposed to hold debate on Tuesday, October 27 at 10:00.
“We invite Dodon to a discuss the most pressing and important issues that people face. We understand that Dodon has no answers regarding the content of the bags he received or the cost of vacation in exotic countries. This is why we strongly urge discussion on economic issues. Dodon cannot claim a new mandate if he does not come up with a clear vision of job creation, wage increases and better living standards,” the PAS representatives stated back then.
