Dodon: Sandu Is Afraid of Debate as She Has Nothing to Say
The incumbent President Igor Dodon said that his opponent in the second round of the presidential elections, Maia Sandu, is afraid to appear at the pre-election debates with him, since “she has nothing to say”.
On the air of the “Igor Dodon Answers” show, the incumbent president said that he proposed to Maia Sandu to hold debates twice next week, on Tuesday and Thursday, but she refused, cotidianul.md reports.
“Ms. Sandu has emotions. She offered to hold the debate at ASEM once. The teams were scheduled to meet this morning to travel to ASEM, but Maia Sandu’s team is no longer answering phone calls. I think they are afraid, they understand that they have nothing to say,” Igor Dodon said.
“But if they want the same debate, let them be alone,” Dodon said.
