Citizens who voted for Renato Usatii in the presidential elections are people who want changes, they are an anti-systemic electorate.
This statement was made by Maia Sandu on the air of the Secretele Puterii program on Jurnal TV.
“This is an anti-systemic electorate, these people also want changes. If we talk about the areas in the north that previously voted massively for Igor Dodon, people were convinced that he had lied to them, that he has done nothing for them. We wish to build a country where citizens can work. These are goals that should unite all of us, including people who vote for Igor Dodon. They do not vote for him because he did something for them, but unfortunately they become victims of Dodon’s horror stories,” Sandu said.
When the host asked if Igor Dodon had done anything good for the people during his four years of rule, the PAS leader asked for at least one example.
“You saw that he promised to increase pensions and increased them by one percent, he promised to fight corruption, and everyone saw how he received bags from corrupt officials. He frees the bandits, and there are no justice reform discussions ongoing, all the corrupt judges and prosecutors stay in the system,” Maia Sandu said.
