Maia Sandu, who won the presidential elections in Moldova, said she would build a balance in foreign policy through a pragmatic dialogue with Russia and the United States.
“We will build a real balance in foreign policy, based on the national interests of Moldova, and a pragmatic dialogue with all countries, including Romania, Ukraine, European countries, Russia and the United States,” she said at a press conference, ria.ru reports.
She noted that she will work for all citizens of the country.
Sandu will also initiate consultations with parliamentary parties. She will hold talks with party leaders after winning the presidential elections in Moldova.
