The Sor party faction and six independent deputies announced at a plenary meeting on November 19 that the platform “For Moldova” was created. The announcement was made by MP Sergiu Sirbu. “Under the Protocol No. 1 of November 18, independent deputies Sergiu Sirbu, Eleonora Graur, Ruxanda Glavan, Grigore Repesiuc, Corneliu Padnevic, Elena Bacalu and deputies of the Sor party faction Ilan Sor, Petru Jardan, Marina Tauber, Regina Apostolova, Vadim Fotescu, Igor Himici, Denis Ulanov, Violetta Ivanov and Vladimir Vitiuc create the parliamentary platform “For Moldova”. Sergiu Sirbu was elected the platform secretary. The MPs who have joined the For Moldova platform will support the bills needed by the citizens and the country. We hope that all parliamentary factions will show the same approach,” the deputy said. “Joining the For Moldova parliamentary platform does not mean the disappearance of the faction of the political party “Sor”, but the unification of efforts to pass the bills needed by the citizens,” the party stated. The party stated that the purpose of creating the For Moldova platform was to unite the deputies who are not indifferent to the present and future of the country. “We are talking about everyone who wants to be useful to their country and contribute to its development and revival,” the message says. The Sor party added that the For Moldova parliamentary platform remains open to all MPs who are ready to contribute to the promotion of bills aimed at developing the Republic of Moldova and improving the living standards of citizens. The platform has become the second largest group in the current parliament.
