The Moldovan authorities must continue implementing the necessary reforms because the European Union readiness to support the Republic of Moldova depends on their results. Such an appeal made the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi, in an interview with Foreign Minister Aureliu Ciocoi,  ipn.md reported. A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) notes that Aureliu Ciocoi and Olivér Várhelyi exchanged views on the prospects for developing cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. At the same time, Minister Aureliu Ciocoi noted the EU is concerned the recent political events in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. Aureliu Ciocoi stressed the importance of close cooperation with the EU, both in the priority areas covered by the Association Agreement and in the fight against the consequences of the pandemic crisis.
