At the last meeting of the Supreme Security Council (SSC), President Maia Sandu asked the General Prosecutor's Office to open criminal cases against several MPs who are currently in the opposition. The list presented by the head of state included former President Igor Dodon, as well as former head of the Legislative Assembly Zinaida Greceanîi. This was stated by Alexandr Stoianoglo at today's briefing, unimedia.info reports. “There were some names that are currently in opposition, and the GP representative was asked why no criminal cases were opened in their names. These people are in parliament, and they are not from the Shor faction. Names were also told, among them Dodon, Greceanîi, Voronin. No arguments were presented, it was just a reproach to the prosecutor's office,” Stoianoglo said. Stoianoglo emphasized that “the presidency must have the courage” to publish the list submitted to the SSC.
