On Monday Romania presented the problem of the gas crisis in Moldova at a meeting of the EU Council at the level of Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg and offered to provide financial assistance to Chisinau. This was stated by Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu upon arrival at the meeting, his statement was broadcast online by the press service of the EU Council, tass.ru reports. “I will also inform my colleagues about the crisis in Moldova related to gas supplies <...> I will ask my colleagues and EU institutions to provide expert and financial assistance to Chisinau to resolve this crisis,” he said.
