President Maia Sandu said that the meeting with her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin has not yet been discussed.
The statements were made in an interview with the Romanian press, cotidianul.md reports.
“There are no negotiations on this topic. Discussions are held at the level of government, at the level of various institutions, on specific topics. A group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs came to Moscow this week to discuss several topics, including those I mentioned earlier. So, the dialogue is underway and we continue to work at different levels of state institutions on specific topics,” the President said.
In the same interview, answering the question about the current relations of the Republic of Moldova with the Russian Federation, the head of state said that “our dialogue is tough but much-needed, and there are many topics on our agenda”.
