The bill on the state budget for 2023 was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, and President Maia Sandu signed the documents promulgating the law. Thus, Maia Sandu signed the law on mandatory health insurance for 2023, the law on state social insurance budget for 2023, the law on fiscal budget policy for 2023 and the law on the state budget for 2023 as a whole, reports rupor.md. According to the state budget law, the next year’s budget provides for 64.9 billion lei, which represents a 9.3% increase in revenues to the national public budget in the current year, while expenses will amount to 83.2 billion lei, a 12.5% increase against 2022. The state budget deficit for next year will amount to 18.3 billion lei, which is expected to be covered from internal and external funds.
