Usatii Won’t Support Any of the Candidates in the Second Round of the Presidential Election

Our Party leader held a press conference at which he voiced his position on the second round of the presidential election. In the first part of his address to the PAS candidate, Usatii accused the authorities of blocking all his attempts to fight corruption. “After 4 years of Maia Sandu’s mandate and 3 years of PAS rule, they cannot get my support,” the politician said. “In 2020, I fought Dodon, and the whole country knows it. After that, they fabricated a case against me in Russia. And after I refused to support Stoianoglo, I was threatened,” Renato Usatii said. “I, Renato Usatii, will not vote for any of the candidates. But I do not have the right to decide for citizens who they should vote for. They should decide for themselves who to vote for and whether to go to the polls in the second round,” the politician said. Renato Usatii came third in the first round of elections, receiving almost 14% of the votes.
