The telephone conversation between the heads of state is reported by the presidential offices of the two countries. The site of the President of Russia notes that the conversation took place on the Ukrainian side's initiative. According to the information from Kiev, Zelensky and Putin particularly "focused on the release of the Ukrainian citizens kept in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea, as well as in the Russian Federation." The message notes that the presidents agreed to intensify the work of the Trilateral Contact Group on the Donbass situation resolution. The statement by the presidential press service of Russia says that "Vladimir Putin directly raised the question if Kiev is really determined to implement the Minsk agreements," and also that "in the context of the upcoming 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Russian side has emphasized the contribution of all the USSR peoples to the Nazi Germany defeat and indicated the inadmissibility of distorting the historical truth about the Second World War events." The last face-to-face meeting of the Ukrainian and Russian presidents took place on December 9, in Paris, as part of the Normandy Four summit, which was also attended by French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. After this meeting, a second exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine was held. The President of Ukraine will speak at the 56th Munich Security Conference, which opened on February 14, in Germany.
