France is ready to help the Republic of Moldova in solving the problems facing our country. This spring a special mission of French experts will arrive in Chisinau to identify problems and solve them, stiri.md reports. "The state of bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and the French Republic, as well as the interest in strengthening the partnership between our countries at the political, economic and social level were key aspects of yesterday's meeting with Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France," the president said. She talked about how the negotiations were going. "I thanked France for supporting the Republic of Moldova throughout the years and expressed my hope that relations would be strengthened. At the same time, we discussed the need to advance negotiations on the signing of several intergovernmental agreements (recognition of driver's licenses, social security, recognition of diplomas) that, first of all, meets the interests of citizens. With regard to the current situation in the Republic of Moldova, we prioritized the way out of the political crisis through early parliamentary elections. An enhanced response to the pandemic crisis is another priority, which is why we have asked the French authorities to help us gain access to the COVID-19 vaccine possibly sooner. Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian assured us of France's support and noted that together we will seek solutions to the problems under consideration. In this regard, a research mission will arrive in Chisinau in March to define areas of assistance," Sandu said.
