DA Platform Nominated Nastase for Prime Minister

The DA platform has declared its readiness to establish a minority government and requires urgent consultation with President Maia Sandu. This was stated by the leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform, Andrei Nastase, tv8.md reports. Immediately after this statement, the DA Platform faction chairman, Alexandru Slusari, announced that they were nominating Andrei Nastase to the post of prime minister. "The president has a choice - either she nominates Mr. Nastase, or leaves the country in the hands of a toxic alliance. We have the same deputies, but we propose a solution - a minority government, as it was in 2019, when Igor Dodon was president," Slusari said. "We propose an anti-crisis minority government as a solution, and we rely on the responsibility of the deputies, and especially the president's responsibility," Andrei Năstase added. Let us remind you that today Igor Dodon announced that PSRM will not support the government of Gavrilita and is nominating Mariana Durlesteanu for the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova. The politician said that PSRM together with other deputies collected 51 signatures for nominating this candidate. The Shor and For Moldova deputies announced that they would support Durleshteanu's nomination for prime minister.
