Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia will present a “strategic vision for further cooperation with the EU based on the differentiation principle” at the Eastern Partnership Summit in December. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba the day before, after a meeting with Georgian and Moldovan counterparts in the format of an Association Trio in Brussels, infotag.md reports. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the heads of Ukrainian, Georgian and Moldovan diplomacy discussed preparations for the Eastern Partnership summit on December 15. “Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova advocate the transformation of the Eastern Partnership into an effective instrument of European integration. At the summit in December, we will present a strategic vision for further cooperation with the EU based on the differentiation principle: those who act and strive for more should receive more”, Kuleba said. According to him, advancing the European integration will strengthen the security of the Association Trio countries and the European Union as a whole. A separate topic of the meeting was the joint projects of the Association Trio within the framework of the economic and investment plan of the Eastern Partnership. The meeting participants noted that in addition to the declaration of the Eastern Partnership summit, a separate statement of the Association Trio will be prepared. Infotag.md
