Employee of Russian Embassy in Moldova May Be Declared Persona Non Grata

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration summoned the Russian Ambassador due to the visit of Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to Chisinau. According to officials, two employees of the diplomatic mission were at the airport on the day of Minnikhanov’s arrival and showed an inappropriate attitude, realitatea.md reports. Government Spokesman Daniel Voda said that airport access cards were confiscated from the employees of the diplomatic mission. “Declaration of an official from the Russian embassy as persona non grata is being considered”, Daniel Voda said.
