Ukraine has decided to open the Cuciurgan international (railway) checkpoint in Odesa region, which has been closed since the beginning of the war. RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 10 October 2023 № 920-r. The document stipulates for an amendment to the annex to the order of the Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers from 26 February 2022 № 188 “On the temporary closure of some checkpoints across the state border and control points”, providing for the exclusion of the point: international checkpoint Cuciurgan, railway, passenger, cargo in Odesa region. The Cuciurgan checkpoint is located on the Transnistrian section of Ukraine’s border with Moldova and was closed, along with many other points, after the outbreak of war in Ukraine at the end of February 2022.
