The Interparliamentary Assembly of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia is called upon to respond to the challenges of regional security. On Friday, October 5, the Charter of the Interparliamentary Assembly, created by Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia in early June, was signed in Tbilisi. During its establishment, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, stressed that all three countries jointly “resisted the aggression of the Russian Federation”. Parliamentary Speakers Irakli Kobakhidze of Georgia, Andriy Parubiy of Ukraine and Andrian Candu of Moldova signed a charter of the Interparliamentary Assembly. According to Candu, the members of the Interparliamentary Assembly will help these countries to find a solution to the problem of how to ensure security of all three countries in order to manage to join the EU quicker as well  as to face common challenges, related to security in that region. In particular it is about territorial security, energy independence and the existing threats, in the area of cyber security and disinformation added Candu. Source: DW
