Vucic said that for this Serbia should get something in return from Pristina as part of a larger deal Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Belgrade could recognize Kosovo’s independence. It is reported by RBC-Ukraine, with reference to Radio Liberty. In an interview with the Italian news agency ANSA, Vucic noted that to do this Serbia must get something in return as part of a larger deal. “We must first find the compromise. We cannot recognize Kosovo without getting anything from the other side. I am sure that we can come to a solution with the help of our European friends and with the support of Russia, America, China and other countries”, Vucic said. Recall that the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, stated that “if a small border correction” between his republic and Serbia were a price for reaching the final peace agreement, “that would be acceptable” for Kosovo. On December 14, the Kosovo Assembly deputies voted in second reading for the draft law on the creation of the Kosovo army. All 107 deputies supported the bill. It was adopted on Monday following the recommendations of the internal affairs committee. Let us remind, Kosovo in 2008 unilaterally declared its independence, the state is recognized by the majority of EU countries. But, according to the Constitution of Serbia, the republic is still part of the country. Source: RBC
