Recall, President Maia Sandu who was previously on a visit to Bucharest said that Moldova wants to buy gas from Romania.
“We are interested in signing a long-term contract for a certain volume of gas and we are discussing this option. That is, Moldova can buy gas from Romania. We know that Romania will increase production, so the volume it will produce will increase in the coming years, and we believe that in this context we can sign a long-term contract,” the president told the Romanian media.
