A delegation of the Moldovan Parliament to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), led by MP Veronica Rosca, will take part in the winter meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The delegation also includes deputies Vasile Bolea and Igor Chiriac, noi.md reports. On the morning of February 23, the meeting will be opened by Wolfgang Sobotka, Chairman of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament, and Margareta Söderfelt, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Also speaking will be OSCE Chairman-in-Office, North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani and OSCE Secretary General Helga M. Schmid. The general debate of this year’s winter session will be devoted to the anniversary of the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine. The agenda of the meeting will include reports by the OSCE PA Special Representatives for Eastern Europe. The meeting will also include meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly’s three General Committees: Political Affairs and Security; Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment; and Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs.
