The State Tax Service decided to freeze funds / economic resources belonging to four persons, former or current Moldovan citizens. The STS decisions concern six bank accounts of Ilan Șor, four accounts of Alexandr Kalinin (deprived of citizenship by the decree of President Maia Sandu), three bank accounts of Veaceslav Platon and one bank account of Vladimir Andronachi, mold-street.com says. The State Tax Service took the decision based on the Moldindconbank notification. All four persons are subject to restrictions “according to the decision of the Interdepartmental Supervisory Board No. 1 of 27.12.2023 on the basis of Article 29 of the Law on the Application of International Restrictive Measures No. 25/2016”. Earlier, the STS blocked the accounts of Veaceslav Platon and Vladimir Andronachi in Moldova Agroindbank, as well as four bank accounts of Vladimir Plahotniuc. In addition, about 65,000 Unibank shares with a nominal value of 200 lei, owned by Marina Tauber, were blocked. This bank was part of the “Șor” holding involved in banking frauds and is in the process of liquidation.
