The election campaign for this year’s Romanian presidential election began on Friday, 4 April and will end on 3 May at 7:00 am.
Romania’s Central Electoral Bureau has allowed 11 candidates to run in the election, news.ro reported.
A repeat election to be held in May after the cancellation of the results of a vote late last year in which independent candidate Calin Georgescu was leading.
Meanwhile, polls promise victory in the first round of Romania’s elections to the leader of the far-right AUR party, George Simion.
