Home / Politics / Grosu: Better to Be a Soros Supporter than an FSB Minion
At yesterday’s parliamentary session, MPs raised the issue of Moldova’s relations with the US and the upcoming visit by the country’s officials to Washington.
PCRM MP Diana Caraman claimed that Donald Trump allegedly does not wish to improve relations with Moldova because of Soros, who provides the state with “so-called funds”, reports zdg.md.
In response, PAS MP Adrian Balutel noted that the socialist Bogdan Țirdea was one of the beneficiaries of Soros’s funds.
“Let me remind you that whilst you were groveling before Plahotniuc, Bogdan Țirdea was representing oligarchic Moldova to dozens of ambassadors and civil society experts,” replied Țirdea, adding that he had never received any funds from Soros.
In response, Balutel claimed that Țirdea had “a very unpleasant experience of dealing with people in the Moscow antechambers”.
Commenting on the spat between the MPs, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu stated:
“Better to be a Soros supporter than an FSB minion”.
