Kyiv shows an unfriendly gesture, claiming the candidacy of the new Ambassador in Budapest.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary said that Ukraine is delaying the appointment of the candidate for the new Hungarian ambassador, reported Magyar Midokso on Friday, October 5, with reference to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tamas Menzer.
The official said that Kyiv is showing an “unfriendly gesture” by the fact that for many months it could not agree on the candidacy of the new ambassador to Ukraine. It is also reported that the new Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine should be one of the highest ranked Hungarian diplomats, Istvan Ijdyarto. However, Kyiv is delaying in receiving of the agrement.
