The sanctions list and restrictive measures were to prepare by the government of the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an Executive Order imposing sanctions against Ukraine, reports Kremlin press service on Monday, October 22. This Order was signed in Connection with “Ukraine’s Unfriendly Actions toward Citizens and Legal Entities of the Russian Federation”. According to the Executive Order all government bodies and individuals within the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation shall proceed “in their activity from the premise that certain individuals and legal entities are subject to special economic measures”. The Russian Government shall designate individuals and legal entities facing special economic measures. This Executive Order shall enter into force upon its signing and may be cancelled upon the recommendation of the Government of the Russian Federation, if the restrictive measures imposed by Ukraine against the citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation are lifted.
