After the end of the state of emergency, the opposition will initiate a vote of no confidence in the government. This was stated by Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Vice-Chairman of the DA Platform Party, Alexandru Slusari. "The government makes many mistakes in the situation associated with the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, this cabinet is not able to save the economy. Agriculture is dying before our eyes, the economy is degrading. Instead of providing effective assistance to economic agents, the government makes a short-sighted decision to provide assistance to several companies that live well without it," Slusari said during the "Friday with Anatol Golea" program on RTR-Moldova, infotag.md reports. He believes that "President Igor Dodon is preventing the Ion Chicu government from working." "We had the hope that the government could handle it. But it became completely under Dodon's control, who does nothing but interferes with work. This situation needs to be stopped, there is simply no other choice but government's resignation",  the opposition representative said. In addition, he is confident that the PSRM-PDM coalition will not last long. “We see that the deputies are leaving the PDM, they do not agree with the party’s policies, which became an appendage of the PSRM. We saw that the deputies did not want to vote for the Russian loan ratification - the PDM leader Dmitry Diacov walked around the hall and, literally, raised deputies' hands. From all this we conclude that this coalition will not rule for long,” Slusari said. In his view, the collapse of the coalition will inevitably lead to the government's resignation. “We have no doubt about that. A more complicated question is what the next government will be. To form it will be difficult, but not impossible. We will strive to create a real government of technocrats, specialists. There will be no coalition just to create a government. We need 51-52 deputies who agree to support the anti-crisis government in order to save the country,” he said. According to the vice speaker, if the government is not created, then there is no need to be afraid to go to early elections. “They can take place before the presidential election, and on the same day as the presidential election. There are many nuances here, the Constitutional Court will have to speak out,” Slusari concluded.
