Philip: Ilan Shor Is Behind Creation of the "For Moldova" Platform in Parliament

The chairman of the Democratic Party Pavel Filip is sure that Ilan Shor is behind the creation of the For Moldova platform in the Moldovan parliament. The politician said this on the eve of the TV8 channel. Filip stressed that he can say with “confidence” that “Ilan Shor is behind the latest movements in parliament,” but he cannot say anything about Vlad Plahotniuc’s participation in these reshuffles,  infotag.md reported. “Perhaps, when creating such a platform, they are trying to show that there is such a" blocking package "that will not allow creating another stable majority for both the right and left flanks. After all the statements made, including by external partners, it is obvious that any interaction with Shor representatives will lead to isolation and no one will work with such a government. I am absolutely sure that even the socialists do not want to get involved with the For Moldova platform,” Filip said. According to him, " creating this platform is an attempt to enter the game." “In my opinion, this is a creature of Ilan Shor’s, as he understands that no one will go with him to an open coalition. On the other hand, early parliamentary elections are not beneficial for the country from the economic point of view. Therefore, thus, he is trying to somehow take a place in the structure of power, but I think that this is a strategic mistake, " Philip said.
