Earlier, Hungary began vaccination with Sputnik V, despite the fact that the Russian vaccine has not yet received the approval of the EU regulator - the European Medicines Agency. “The purchase of the Russian vaccine was the right decision, since COVID-19 knows nothing about geopolitics,” said Prime Minister of Slovakia Igor Matovic. "I have no problem getting the Sputnik vaccine myself." Slovakia will purchase 2 million Sputnik V vaccines and expects half of this to arrive this month.
