The leaders of the two countries will meet in Geneva on June 16 White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said President Joe Biden will be frank and straightforward during talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but Washington does not expect any major breakthroughs following this summit. “He will be straightforward and frank, he is not going to hush up anything,” Psaki said on ABC's Good Morning America. In doing so, she tried to play down expectations. “We are not expecting great results,” said the spokeswoman. She added that Biden will also be looking for areas in which the two leaders can agree. According to Psaki, Biden's goal is to return "to a more stable and predictable relationship" with Russia. It is not yet clear if there will be a joint press conference following the summit, but Psaki said that Biden intends to share his impressions and answer questions from the press.
