Former President of Moldova, head of the Communist Party Vladimir Voronin said in an interview with RIA Novosti about which of the international partners is trying to influence decisions within the country. According to him, there are serious problems with the country's sovereignty  ria.ru reported. "There is a threat of loss of sovereignty if pro-Western forces raised in the Soros Foundation come to power in different structures with certain goals that are not entirely legal. They can completely change the state of affairs in our country and any day declare that Moldova tomorrow unites with Romania. Who they define us as - autonomy or county in this Romania - remains on their conscience, but such a threat does exist. Proceeding from this, these elections are of great, exceptional importance, not for each of us, but for all together, for the whole country, for the entire people, for the whole Moldova. Many people, unfortunately, very many do not fully understand what we are telling them, and our warning about this real threat does not reach everyone. Maybe there is an objective reason associated with the deepest poverty, poverty that has enveloped the majority of the citizens of our country. Maybe the pernicious influence of a huge number of TV channels - Romanian and others, which daily, so to speak, rinse the brains of the citizens of our country. And there are a lot of agents of influence working here through the same Soros Foundation. Judge for yourself, 12 thousand non-governmental organizations are registered in Moldova today. Of course, they are not funded from the Russian Federation or from Ukraine, they are funded by the West, the Soros Foundation. Of course, their task is not to strengthen Moldova, to fight for the country's development, to prevent the possibility of changing the status of neutrality. All this together is a very big threat of loss of sovereignty," Voronin said.
