According to political analyst Vladislav Kulminski, Moldova has got a unique "chance to become a functional state and get closer to the EU." The statements were aired on the Punctul pe AZi show on TVRMoldova. "The Republic of Moldova has a great chance to become a functional state, to come closer to the EU. This is an opportunity that we will no longer have for 3-4 generations. This is a unique chance to put an end to corruption and pursue a normal policy," Kulminski said. "If we do not succeed, the entire Republic of Moldova will not succeed. It's not just about a particular political party. The PAS will surely involve certain people to the government, and that would be fine. Failure will not be just a failure of the PAS," the expert said. Let's remind that on July 11, early parliamentary elections were held in Moldova. According to the Central Election Commission results,  only three political parties entered the new parliament after the elections: PAS, which will represent the parliamentary majority after receiving 52.8% of the vote; the Bloc of Communists and Socialists with 27.17% and the Shor party with 5.74% are in opposition.
