A memorandum of understanding between the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the European Parliament may be signed at the end of the year.
This was announced today by Dragos Tudorache, the rapporteur of the Foreign Policy Commission on the implementation of the Moldova-European Union Association Agreement in the European Parliament and the coordinator of the EP's activities to support parliamentary democracy in the Republic of Moldova, moldpres.md reports.
He noted that within the framework of the memorandum, assistance will be provided both on technical issues and on training of parliamentary staff, including through organizing internships.
The European Representative pointed out that the reform of the judicial system, the reform of the banking and financial system, the implementation of recommendations related to the electoral process will also be included in the new agenda of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
He added that the EU supports our country in the fight against the pandemic and can help overcome the energy crisis.
