Popescu at the Meeting with Metsola: Moldova’s Future Is in the European Union

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Nicu Popescu met with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola during of the Brussels Forum jubilee conference. During the meeting, Nicu Popescu expressed his deep gratitude for the political support of the MEPs in view of granting Moldova the status of EU candidate state, moldpres.md reports. “The resolutions adopted in this period in the European Parliament have made it clear: Moldova’s future is in the European Union. The path to accession is the only option that offers our country stability, development and prosperity,” Popescu said. Point
