WatchDog.MD published an investigative report titled “The One Who Is Accountable for Energy Debts”. The investigation targets the activity of Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu, realitatea.md reports. Infrastructure Minister Andrei Spinu repeatedly made communication inaccuracies over the past year, and some of his actions raised questions. “One recent example involves electricity. Initially, Spinu failed to explain why the purchase price was $73 per megawatt, 15% higher than the previous price, portraying it as a success. Then he said that the MGRES would provide enough light for the entire right bank, but we end up in a situation when we buy extra power from Romania at about $98 per MWh,” the authors of the video note.
