This was stated by Prime Minister Dorin Recean on the air of Cutia Neagră. The co-founder of the Moldovan-Russian Business Union, Igor Chaika, cannot enter our country either. “We have a long list and we will not let these people into our country. The Republic of Moldova is an independent, sovereign country, and those who disrespect the people’s choice should know their place, and if they have business in their country, let them do it,” said Dorin Recean. “If Chaika (Igor Chaika, co-founder of the Moldavian-Russian Business Union) wants to come to the Republic of Moldova tomorrow, would he be able to enter our country?” the broadcaster asked. “No,” the prime minister replied. “Not a single official from the Russian Federation who wants to come to the Republic of Moldova can come now?” the prime minister was asked. “People from our list. This list is not public. Some will find out when they arrive, others, as I think, already know,” Dorin Recean precised. “And, if Putin wants to come to the Republic of Moldova, could he enter the country?” the broadcaster asked. “No”. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration took note of the decision of the Russian authorities to declare the diplomat of the Moldovan Embassy in Russia persona non grata, as well as to apply a ban on entry into the Russian Federation for certain officials of the Republic of Moldova. Earlier, the representative of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau was declared persona non grata and was prescribed to leave the Republic of Moldova, as the MFAEI reported on April 19.
