On Wednesday, 16 October, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time publicly presented his victory plan, which consists of 5 points and 3 secret protocols. The plan has five points: - Ukraine’s invitation to NATO, which “definitely” has to happen now. - Strengthening defense. Strengthening the Ukrainian army with Western supplies, lifting the ban on strikes deep into Russia, transmitting real-time satellite data to Kyiv and investing in Ukrainian weapons production. - Deterrence. Ukraine is proposed to deploy non-nuclear deterrents sufficient to protect the country from a military threat from Russia. There is a secret annex to this paragraph, which Kyiv’s partners have familiarized themselves with. - An agreement with allies to jointly protect Ukraine’s valuable resources - in particular uranium, titanium and lithium. - The post-war era. Ukrainian experience should be used to strengthen NATO’s defense and security in Europe.
