MP Promised Reforms “in Moldovan Style”: European Ones Are not Going as Fast

The PAS deputy believes that the justice reform should be carried out in the “Moldovan style, as the European style has not yielded results and does not go as fast as we would like.” Dorian Istrati voiced his opinion during a programme on Jurnal TV, reports ziua.md. “We voted step by step, procedure by procedure, followed all the recommendations of our external partners, as the EU said: carry out this reform according to the rules. We followed all the procedures, consulted all the necessary parties, but, unfortunately, the European-type reform in Moldova is not going as fast as we would like. It is necessary to carry out a reform according to the Moldovan model. I have previously stated that some deliberate action is needed to normalize the justice process,” Dorian Istrati said.
