Chicu’s Party Supported PSRM’s Decision to Deny the Election Results

The Party of Development and Consolidation of Moldova (PDCM), led by Ion Chicu, supported the decision of the PSRM Republican Council not to recognize the results of the presidential election and Maia Sandu as the legally elected president. “This decision of the PSRM Republican Council is fully in line with the resolution of the PDCM National Political Council of 23 November 2024,” the party said in a statement, newtv.md reported. In addition, PDCM calls on all political forces in Moldova not to recognize the results of the presidential election. “We appeal to all political forces in Moldova, which have repeatedly pointed out the fraudulent nature of the autumn presidential election, not to recognize the results of this vote rigged by the authorities,” the Party of Development and Consolidation of Moldova said in a statement.
