On Monday, November 26, the Verkhovna Rada supported the presidential decree on imposing martial law in Ukraine for a period of 30 days. For the decision voted 276 deputies. 30 parliamentarians opposed. It should be recalled that first, President Petro Poroshenko offered the Verkhovna Rada to impose martial law for a period of 60 days, but later offered to introduce it for a period of 30 days from 9:00 on November 28. Poroshenko stressed that the presidential election should be held March 31, 2019. Martial law will be introduced in Zaporizhzhya region,  Donetsk region, Vinnytsia region, Luhansk region, Mykolaiv region, Odesa region, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, Chernihiv region, Kherson region, and the inland waters of the Azov-Kerch water area.
