Prime Minister Ion Chicu chaired a meeting of the government’s team with the ambassadors accredited to Moldova. At the meeting, the PM unveiled to the diplomats the priorities of the cabinet’s Action Plan for the period 2020-2023, moldpress.md reports. The prime minister mentioned, in the priorities’ list, the justice reform, public investments in infrastructure, economy’s modernization and enhancement of people’s well-being. “The government will act transparently. We deem the implementation of the Association Agreement as a priority and we will preserve an open dialogue with all partners,” PM said. Ion Chicu informed the ambassadors that the cabinet would undertake actions meant to prompt a close and mutually advantageous cooperation with international institutions, such as the International Monetary Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank. In continuation, the deputy prime minister for reintegration, the heads of the Justice Ministry and Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry informed the ambassadors about the priorities for 2020. At the end of the meeting, the prime minister thanked the ambassadors for the support provided to Moldova, noting that the assistance, in fact, was offered to the Moldovan citizens and not to the governments.
