Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak as deputy head of the presidential administration. For this purpose, additional post of deputy head was introduced in the presidential administration. This was announced on January 24 by RIA Novosti. Kozak is still Putin’s special envoy for relations with Moldova. Prior to that, Anton Vaino, a head of Putin’s administration, had two first deputies and two deputies. Now another deputy position has been introduced, to which Putin appointed Kozak. Recall that earlier the government of Dmitry Medvedev resigned, and the new government is headed by Mikhail Mishustin. In 2018, Putin appointed Kozak as the president’s special envoy for the development of trade and economic relations with Moldova. Prior to Kozak, this position was held by former Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.
